My favorite gift was a new Kindle - quite a change from my generation 2 Kindle or my 2013 tablet! This goes with me everywhere because it is so lightweight!

Hi Bernadette,

I actually have my first Kindle, but I forgot how to use it since it isn't touch screen. Glad you are enjoying yours.

I have had many favorite gifts over the years. One of my most fun and memorable was when out two kiddos (with dads help) gave me my first bread maker. I was so happy I started to cry. Richard was 4 and Heather was 1. Richard thought I didnt like it so he started to cry. Heather saw both mom and brother crying so she started to cry. Than at the same time I started to laugh. Wow talk about confusion on the kids parts. My poor husband had a time gettint everyone to stop crying. We had many wonderful loaves over the years with the machine. The kids still talk about that incident. Now 35 and 33

My favorite gift is a sister coffee mug from my little sister, who has since passed away. I think of her every time I drink from it.

This was my all time favorite gift but it was a Valentine's Day gift from my husband. He bought me a Golden Retriever puppy who I named Dakota. I was ready to either take him back or resell him for the first five months. But, he turned out to be the best dog ever. He passed over the Rainbow Bridge when he was 8 1/2 and I still miss that big 105 lb goofball.

My favorite Christmas was going to church and just being thankful for what we had and the spirit in my heart. And the books I always got to read

My husband noticed me trying to hold my breath while cleaning the bathroom. He asked why and I told him that the fumes from the cleaning chemicals gave me trouble. He offered to take over cleaning the bathrooms as my gift. I have requested this same gift every year for the last 15. Not only is it a wonderful gift, it reminds me that he *noticed* I was having trouble and *offered* to fix the problem for me.
